Why PennsylvaniaCannabis.org Exists

Pennsylvania has the largest medical-only cannabis market in the United States — over 440,000 registered patients, approximately 150 dispensary locations, and more than $7.7 billion in cumulative sales since the program launched in 2018. At the same time, the state is in the middle of a contentious debate over recreational legalization, with the House passing a bill 102-101 and the Senate blocking it.

Finding reliable, comprehensive, and non-commercial information about Pennsylvania cannabis in one place has never been easy. Medical patients need clear guidance on getting a card, qualifying conditions, and dispensary locations. Advocates need accurate data on the legalization push and pending legislation. Everyone deserves to understand the penalties and employment protections that shape daily life.
